You might want to check if some of your matches have joined the Project for your haplogroup.

Probably a dumb question, but is there any way to find matches more than seven steps away without figuring it out manually? FTDNA shows one four-step match at 37 markers, but this person and I don't match at all at 67 markers even though we've both had that many markers tested. YSearch shows no relevant matches. It's probably pointless, but I'm curious to find my closest matches at the 37, 67, and 111 levels.

Got the last panel finally :-) closest match is now 4 steps on 67 markers. After that, closest is 17 steps away.

Hubby's Population Finder posted on Monday. It shouldn't be long now.

My husband's Y panels have come in but we're still waiting on Family Finder. At least they've confirmed they got the two vials we sent a couple of weeks ago.

No explanation other than failed to yield results. I haven't emailed them though for any further info. If my grandfather's fails again today, I'll probably ask. They had no issues with my father's 48-60 panel though, also done at the same time. Nothing was held up there.

    Finally!

Got my Full Sequence results today. Held up twice but came in 10 days sooner than the expected date. I have 4 more kits processing and he said the FF tests should not be held up like the full sequence....we will see!

That's not a good sign. I've only been waiting a little over a month. I hope I do not have to wait two more to get the 48-60 panel. It must be a difficult panel to run or something.

    FINALLY - some movement

Just got my husband's first 12 Y-DNA markers posted.

He's Haplogroup G. Now to find out what that means...

Paternal line goes to East Prussia ca. 1830.
