    The wait

I am waiting too! Batch 462 6/18 full sequence delayed because of promotion. New date is 7/9. Family Finder was on time, in fact, a few days before due date.

Still waiting on my grandfather's last panel, 48-60. 2nd date was today, but it's not looking good.

Still waiting on my husband's Y-DNA and FF and a friend of mine is waiting on her husband's FF. In both cases, FTDNA had an old sample lying around and used that. They mailed out new vials but since we live in South America I had to wait until we were in the US to use them. My husband's vials were mailed back on July 3 - no acknowledgement of receipt yet. My friend's husband's new vials were mailed back sometime around mid June.

I don't know how the new vials get batched if there's a failing batch in progress.

                  FINALLY - some movement

Just got my husband's first 12 Y-DNA markers posted.

He's Haplogroup G. Now to find out what that means...

Paternal line goes to East Prussia ca. 1830.

How long have you been waiting for your 48-60? I have a 67 marker update in another batch and I've gotten all but the 48-60.

more than 3 months last year‘s sale for 48-60.38-47 and 61-67 took 3-4 weeks.

That's not a good sign. I've only been waiting a little over a month. I hope I do not have to wait two more to get the 48-60 panel. It must be a difficult panel to run or something.

Originally my results were expected June 11th, still waiting now at July 20th; pushed back twice so far. So, almost six weeks late. Just hoping I get the results soon!

                            Finally!

Got my Full Sequence results today. Held up twice but came in 10 days sooner than the expected date. I have 4 more kits processing and he said the FF tests should not be held up like the full sequence....we will see!

Did they ever give you an explanation for the delay or just change your expected date? I looked through some of the older posts and it seems that delays on this 48-60 panel are relatively common, for whatever reason.

No explanation other than failed to yield results. I haven't emailed them though for any further info. If my grandfather's fails again today, I'll probably ask. They had no issues with my father's 48-60 panel though, also done at the same time. Nothing was held up there.
