  • Batch 426

This is exciting: My first close blood relative joining the fun. Male 2nd cousin on my patrilineal side, Batch 426, expected results btw 9/30 and 10/14 apparently.

Can anyone tell me what "Chip02(none)" and "Family Finder + Y-DNA37(none)" in these 'pending results' mean? Thanks!

    Chip02(none) 09/28/2011 426
    Family Finder + Y-DNA37(FamilyFinder) 10/12/2011 426
    Family Finder + Y-DNA37(none) 09/28/2011 426
    Family Finder + Y-DNA37(Y-DNA13-25 Markers) 10/14/2011 426
    Family Finder + Y-DNA37(Y-DNA26-37 Markers) 10/14/2011 426
    Family Finder + Y-DNA37(Y-DNA1-12 Markers) 09/30/2011 426

My husband's mega test is slated in this batch, too; don't know what the "Chip02(none)" refers to either. My brother's tests never included that notation.

Wow - 4 day turnaround on 12 markers??

I certainly didn't expect this: My 2nd cousin's YDNA-12 results just posted after only ***4 days*** after they were posted as pending. (And, apparently confirmed that we do indeed share the great grandfather (see my footer ) we thought we did

and this morning, there is his 26-37 panel. Y-DNA 37 results complete, 10 days after his kit was posted as "pending shipment to lab" and 5 days after it was posted as "pending lab results."

and now, what about that FamilyFinder test?

I hope my Y-DNA results come in sooner than the expected date. My Family Finder test came back within days... I am anxious to get started. I really don't want to wait until 9/21 and 10/05...

It would be great if we could pay an additional fee to have our tests moved to the front of the list / expedited.

Don't get fixated on your due dates; they're subject to change for the worse as well as the better. Like you my FF came in really quickly but I'm still waiting for my YDNA (batch 419) and there are others with sorrier stories (e.g. batch 414).

I for one am really glad that you can't pay to jump the queue. Bear in mind that however much money you have to throw at this, someone else has more...

hmmm ... maybe someone has been paying money to HOLD Batch 414 ...

                    Newbie question on batch 426

I mailed my DNA test and received an email on Aug 13, 2011 that FTDNA had received my test. I just looked at FTDNA and saw that batch 426 is listed on my page at MyFTDNA, does this mean that 426 is my batch #? Thanks for any help.

Login to FTDNA... Click "Pending Lab Results" under the "My Account" list at left, a list called "Pending Items" will show. The batch number shows to the right of the test (third column). If you see 426 somewhere then you are most likely in that batch.

from your MyFTDNA page if you click on "Pending Lab Results," you should then see something like this - The Batch No. is given along with the expected date (for each test that is pending).

                        PENDING ITEMS
                        TESTS EXPECTED* BATCH
                        Family Finder + Y-DNA37(FamilyFinder) 10/12/2011 426

                        * The above expected date is a target used by the lab. Actual date may vary by a few days.

Yep, this particular line should be read again every month or so ...

                            Thanks for everyone replies

I think that 426 must be my batch #. Can't wait to see the results.

My husband's 12-marker portion of the Y-67 results came in today -- almost three weeks early. Thanks!
