  • Batch 425

You know, this really is addictive. I just got my upgrade to 67 markers, now I'm ordering individual SNPs to confirm my haplogroup (both current and draft trees). Anyone know if individual SNPs are generally on-time, or do they come in early like some tests?
    Code:
    TESTS EXPECTED*	BATCH
    M178(M178)	09/26/2011	425
    L550(L550)	09/26/2011	425
    L149.2(L149.2) 09/26/2011	425
    L591(L591)	09/26/2011	425
    L551(L551)	09/26/2011	425

I'm waiting for my Z18 test in the 425 Batch.
All my other tests have been released at least two weeks earlier than the proposed date, let's hope this is similar.

No kidding. My SNP results all came in today, more than a month early!
          M178+, L550+, L149-, L551-, L591-
So now I'm officially confirmed paternal haplogroup N1c1 (on the 2008 YCC Tree), and N1c1d* (on the draft tree and 2011 ISOGG Tree). Fortunately, for rarer haplogroups like N, it only takes a single SNP (M178) to confirm the largest subclade, N1c1. Then, a few more SNPs to help the research by members of DNA Forums. They're actively tracking the Walk The Y (WTY) and determining where the SNPs found fall in the tree.
