I got a Christmas present from FTDNA. First 25 Y-DNA markers.

It seems that I belong to I1a haplogroup. I have two 25/25 hits. It is interesting to see how well they "survive" till 67 markers are ready.

Yes, I'm in batch 390. I sent in my sample the Monday after Thanksgiving. I noticed a post on Dec 8th giving the same Feb date and a message that the first test was inconclusive. I waited a week and called on the 15th. Since I'm new at the whole process, I asked for a ball park rough guess on when the results might be expected. The Cust Svc rep was very nice and professional. She said that it usually takes approximately 2-3 more weeks, but did advise that with the holiday rush it could take longer. I asked about the Feb due date and she was able to tell me that it was conservative date, but again she reminded me that with the holiday and increased volume that it's hard to come up with even a guess.
I'm very anxious and looking forward to uncovering some possible family links to finally identify my real father.

My HVR1 results have arrived (today, I guess). I found it out by chance. FTDNA have not notified me about it by email, yet.

Two weeks to go and I am getting really antsy! Especially since reading in some of the other threads that some orders have been delayed.

You may want to give them a phone call and ask them when they expect Batch 390. I called a few weeks ago on something else and they told me not to expect my FF results that are due 31 Jan 2011. They did not tell me when to expect them since they are not late.

They said it will be about 3 more weeks because they are making modifications to the page, in order to make the test more powerful.

How does that prevent my test be posted?

I don't blame you, I'd be mad too. And since I'm in the same batch my own hopes for on-time FF results are lowered as well.
