My Illumina Matches are still rolling in, and last night I got my Population Finder results.

FF Results

I got my FF results today! The revised estimate was for 21 Feb, so they're a few days early.

Unfortunately, since they've just moved to the new chip, some of the website functionality isn't working yet. Population Finder says:

We are in the process of refining the Population Finder calculations. We expect to release the next version and your results soon.

And you can't download the raw data yet either:

We are in the process of creating your Family Finder OmniExpress download files. We expect to release them soon.

So far, I only have one match, with an estimated Relationship Range of 5th Cousin - Distant Cousin. Hopefully more will show up as the people who tested with the old chip are converted.

Happy Okie

Just got my mtDNA Plus (HVR1 & HVR2) results today, one day before the estimate. I'm still waiting on my FF results, but the previous change to a March estimate has changed again, but earlier than March now: 2/21/2011.

I'm okay with this now. It gave me plenty of time to do the family trees back a few generations and get ready to compare the results.

My Uncle is to get his family finder 31 Jan 2011. If you can could you let me know when your family finder results come in?

I have not got my uncles results yet. Hopefully soon thought that it might come early no longer sure. I was a lot CALMER before my own results came in. It's all fine if they can get the test done without having to send another vial out no more at the lab.

And yet I spoke too soon. The results from all 37 markers are posted, less than a couple hours since the first 25 were posted.

Wow, that was quick! FTDNA just posted the results of markers 1-25 tonight for my Y-DNA test. The expected results were Jan 28 for markers 1-12 and Feb 11 for 13-25. Early Christmas present for me.

I just received the 12 marker results three weeks early, which has been the general case recently. Of course, there has been an influx of pending tests due to the sale, but you should still get your test results much earlier than expected. My fiancee is also in batch 391 She's getting the mtDNA test, also due 2/8/11, so we are expecting them around the middle of January. Oh, just wanted to mention, her father was born in St. Cloud, MN...Moeglein.
