My FF test was in batch 354, due date 17 May. No results yet either.
They had to send a 2nd kit to me (in Australia) for more sample. It took a while for me to send it back, as I was didnt get to the post office for a while.
My personal page still says 17 May for the due date, I never had an updated due date and am just presuming they got the kit.
I think I sent it about 5 weeks ago. Im quessing it will be a few more weeks yet.

Let me re-comment, you probably won't have to "bargain" as I mentioned above if you call... phoning (over emailing) is just a better way at getting a quicker reply.
Ignore my slightly (off-topic) rant above.

Despite my general sense of malaise with the (lack of) help given by (first-level) phone support - and I'm sure it isn't much different than email support - I would still call and demand an explanation. With email, it's likely your message was put into a queue and is buried underneath a heaping heap of other email complaining about lesser issues... with highest priority given to the one that was received first. This is especially true if the company is understaffed in the customer service department (which is probably the case with FTDNA). With the phone, at least you get a chance to *bargain* your particular issue above the priorities of others. It sounds as if your question is deserving more attention, especially since you haven't received any kind of response from them telling you why your results has been weeks late.
If you do call, emphasize how you've already sent email twice and haven't received any response. Let them know that you are unsatisfied with their seemingly lethargic attention to customer service.

Hmmm.
Many got the results ages ago. Seems there were a few latecomers, like me, who haven't got it yet, but some of those were assigned new dates.
My due date hasn't changed: still sitting there at 17th May. No news at all.
I checked my results page, just in case they were in, but they forgot to tell me. Nothing.

I probably would have suggested calling Texas, but I don't think you'll get anything more than a pat answer.Last edited by gijoeinfinity; 3 June 2010, 05:17 PM.

What results are you waiting for?
I have yet to receive any of my mtDNA results, "Due to the overwhelming number of full mtDNA sequence orders received in the past months"...
But I have already received my Y-DNA and Family Finder results, weeks before the given due date of May 24.

Batch 354?
Is anyone, like me, still awaiting results of this batch?
The estimated date was 17th May. I have heard nothing.
I was not very prompt to return my sample kit, additionally I think it may have got delayed by the volcanic ash cloud here in Europe.
So, I'm not really surprised the results didn't make the due date.
I'm reasonably patient, but starting to wonder if FTDNA ever even received the sample.
I wrote to them, using "contact us", a few days ago, but never received a reply to that either.
I've just mailed them again.
It would be nice to know I'm not the only one in this position. I don't mind waiting, if quite a few people still are. But if the kit has got lost, I need them to send me another.Tags: None
