  • Batch 258

I am in Batch 258, but have no idea what that means.
I summited my DNA back in May and my first results are suppose to be ready July 4th.

If you are waiting your results, then how do you know the things you posted in your reply?

I ordered an SNP test for the S116 marker, and that's with Batch 258. All the other markers I had tested previously.

The only thing I understood is that you had already tested before.
I have no idea what the markers are or what the numbers stand for.
I guess I really need to wait until I get my results so that I might understand a little more what people are talking about and refering to.

If you are in the same Batch as I am (#258) why do we have two different dates for results? Mine is Jul 4th and your's is Jul 7th.

He probably ordered a different type of test then you did, even though it was placed in the same week (order batches are created every Wednesday), and some tests take longer to run than others.

When your results come in, there will be a link on your results page labeled "Understanding your results" that will help you understand all this terminology and give you some background info. In the meantime, here are some websites for beginners that will help you understand this stuff:
