Originally posted by stefosI was reassigned to I2b, and have ordered additional testing for M284, M370, P78 and P95. I am in Batch 257 with results expected 6/25/08. Are there any other I2b's out there?

I ordered rs9785659 and rs9786283 in this batch. My personal page says that they are still pending but on my haplogroup page it shows that I am negative for both. I did not get an e-mail saying that I had any new results. I wonder if it is a glitch? I'm going to send FTDNA an e-mail but since it is the weekend I probably won't hear from them until Monday.

I called FTDNA this morning, since the four Deep Clade Extended Tests, (284, 379,78 and 95), that are in batch 257 and projected to be finished 6/25/2008, are shown on my Y-DNA DYS values page by being included in the "tests" section, with negative values. The guy that I talked with was helpful, and told me that there was a bug in their system that showed these numbers on my Y-DNA DYS values page, and that is should be corrected tomorrow. He said that the numbers should not be on theY-DNA DYS values page page until the testing is completed.

"Thank you for your message.
I'm very sorry, but we have a bug in our system that lately has caused some personal pages to say that a customer is negative for SNPs that are still pending at the lab. Your DNA is still being tested, and we don't yet know whether you are positive or negative for rs9785659 or rs9786283. It is an error, and our IT department is working on correcting it now. They should have this done within the next few days, if not sooner. I apologize for any confusion this has caused.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else, and have a great day.

half back
Well, I saw in browsing on my FTDNA page that one of my two SNPs is back. I show negative for PK5 (whatever that signifies in the greater scheme of things). Now I'll be waiting for the P98 result.
Sometimes I wonder who my father really was, or rather if he was really of Norwegian descent. I mean, people have been known to fib in order to fit in, etc. I see a lot of guys with "17" at locus 19, who come from Poland. But where are any 17s from Norway? Hmmmm.
