          BATCH 218 - Caggegi-Raciti

          Waiting on my DSNP-R1b results...

It will be interesting - it could be R1b1c6 (I hope) or R1b1c9a. Then I have to put my other sample in to London. I wish FTDNA could give results on the private R1b1c9a membership.

                      John Raciti's DNA Results: R1b1c

                      R1b1c

                      M173+ M207+ M269+ M343+ P25+ M126- M153- M160- M18- M222- M37- M65- M73- P66- SRY2627-

Now I need to look at getting: S21 & S28 test in London.

Italian R1b1 - The Central Italian Refugium - seems to point in the right way.

                      S21 - Italian paternal lines... I hope

95057 - Deep R1b - test is complete and results have been uploaded

95390 - Deep R1b - partial results have been uploaded from the first testing
attempt. The sample failed to produce a clear result for M160, M269, M37,
and SRY2627. Since so many SNPs failed, the lab is extracting DNA from the
customer's second swab in order to continue the testing attempts. This adds
a couple of weeks to the testing process, so we expect results from the
first testing attempt on the second sample to arrive in about four weeks.

N12956 - Deep R1b - test is complete and results have been uploaded

94548 - Full Sequence mtDNA - it took a little longer than usual for the DNA
to be shipped here from the University of Arizona, which delayed the test.
However, these tests are running at full speed and most should be complete
and uploaded within the next week or so.

Thanks for the update John. It's nice to know exactly what's happening in the lab when a delay like this occurs.

                            Joe.

My FTDNA Results: U5a1a and R1b1c*

I matched my wife's mtdna results matched exactly from genographic project. My mtdna results are U5a1a. I received my ydna results - I was confirmed as R1b1c*. I'm in the process of testing for R1b1c9 and R1b1c9a. If I am negative to these markers - I'll test for R1b1c10. I either could be Northern Germanic or Southern Germanic. With my U5a1a - I could be Frankish or Norman Sicilian.
