Delayed...

Still waiting on my HVR2 results. Now it's pushed back to an expected date of 10/5/07. Patience has always been difficult for me!

My full mtdna results in batch 220 are expected 10/15/07....

I am still waiting on results as well.

More waiting

Just got word that now the results on my HVR2 (mtdna refine) is expected 9/21/07. I've waiting since late June (not really fair of me, that's when I ordered), so I guess I can handle 10 more days.

First it was due back 8/13/07
Then it was extended to 9/7/07
Now 9/21/07

Anyone else still waiting on results from this batch?

Still waiting on second try...

Still waiting on my HVR2 results... due today.
First try was a "difficult sequence to interpret". I'm sure my samples were good.

Batch 211 created on June 25, 2007: received First Panel (12) of 37 Markers on July 27, 2007. Second Panel (13-25) received August 3, 2007. Third Panel (26-37) came in August 15, 2007 and the direction of my paper trail appears to be confirmed by the DNA results -- there are now a new set of questions which require more research ! ~~Marnie

mtdna refine

Just wanted to update my fellow batch 211 friends:

I've been awaiting results on the HVR2. I investigated and found that my dna test had "a difficult sequence to interpret" and so another method has to be used. A rarity, I'm told.

Oh well, such is life! I have to wait another 3 to 5 weeks. I'm sure it will be worth the wait!

Batch 211 created on June 25, 2007: received First Panel (12) of 37 Markers on July 27, 2007. Second Panel (13-25) received August 3, 2007. Three exact matches and, so far, genealogical research is holding up. I'm not celebrating until I see the third panel! ~~Marnie
