I bet it feels wierd when you go into your home page
and the "Pending Results" tab is gone.
That is a weird feeling I may not experience for some time.

        Thanks, I appreciate it.

My wife brought back some interesting genealogical info from conversing with her mom in Russia.

I asked her to interview her mom and write down all the info.

Now I have to get it all into PAF and my GEDCOM.

I've yet to do the gedcom thing. I have some cousins who have quite a bit written down. I'll get to that eventually.

Unfortunately, ordering more tests does not bring back that tab immediately. I suspect that the tab returns only when the ordered tests are officially "batched."

That seems to be the case for me; I ordered the mtDNA-refine and H subclade tests Friday the 19th, but the Pending Results tab didn't show up until Batch 154 was created.

who will only reluctantly admit to checking every day -- okay, okay, so maybe it was a few times a day, but really truly no more than that, honestly -- for that very tab to show up

                  Hello, Batch Lore Pad.

It's hot here in Northern Virginia. Supposed to cool off this coming weekend.

The wife took my little redhead to the swimming pool today. Sunburn! (She takes after her dad.)

                    I'm Sun-sensative, and I can't go without a shirt or I will burn.
I remember cooling off a red-hot sunburn with vinegar. If you don't mind smelling like a pickle. That or noxima cream.

Me too. I've had some bad ones, which scares me a little because I've heard that sunburns, even in one's youth, can lead to skin cancer later.

I have blue eyes and a ruddy complexion, so I burn easily.

You could use malt vinegar, then you would smell like a fish-and-chips place.

Yeah, it went from 60 to 90 here in what, 2 days? Glad summer is on the way, though I'd be perfectly happy with 75-80 degree weather instead of 90+

What happened to that glorious 60-degree weather, with 40s at night?

I too am looking forward to summer (I'm off work then), but autumn is my favorite season, actually.

You guys don't know what summer is like here in the Po Valley...INFERNO

Luckily I won't be here in July.
