I found the new 7 numbers. I had to re-write my list from 38-66 because they changed the order of the numbers.

They are listed half-way down this page http://www.ftdna.com/tutorial_A.html#66markers

Ha, they couldn't just add the new markers, they had to go and rearrange everything? Well, I guess as they say, beggars can't be choosers

Just curious, how much did they rearrange the order -- is everything moved around or did they just shift some markers? I hadn't added 38-59 to my website's database yet since none of my project members have opted to upgrade yet.

That much I know I'm curious how much they changed from the original 38-59 order.

              Thanks!

So they drastically changed the order -- very interesting. I see that they renamed 395 S1 & S2 to 395 S1A & S1B. Wonder if there's a scientific reason for that or just a simple nomenclature change.

Definitely looking forward to seeing these 66-marker results when they finally start rolling in.

                      Where is everyone?

No one seems to be talking this fine Friday evening.

As a school teacher, I have a four-day weekend for Memorial Day.

Next Wednesday, May 31, I have to take my wife down to Immigration. She's taking her test for U.S. citizenship. She's really sweating it.

I've been busy updating the web site.

                        Good luck to your wife.

Well, I finally took the plunge and ordered the upgrade to 67 markers for my cousin My grandfather's GP kit was also received by FTDNA this week. Both of these tests should be in batch 155, which will be created on Wednesday 5/31. I guess the due date will be mid-July.

My brother will be sending in his GP kit any day now. Too bad he lives 1000 miles away, otherwise I'd go over there and force him to do it NOW!

                            And the waiting begins....

May your results be accurate, may they fulfill your hopes, and may they come with incredible speed!

I will be ordering the deep SNP test in a week or so.

Finding out one is R1b1 is like being handed a map of Eurasia.

Got to narrow things down a bit!

In time I'm sure we will come across more genetic matches and many more questions.

I bet it feels wierd when you go into your home page
and the "Pending Results" tab is gone.
