I found it much easier to wait with other people. I felt pretty weird in batch 144 getting all worried about my haplogroup, when it all happened thousands of years ago.
I think Stevo should get his results immediately.
I'm still trying to figure out how I can get genealogy and DNA into my middle school earth science classes next year.
I know I sort of stopped everybody in my tracks when I announced to one of my classes that Oetzi (Iceman), was a cousin.
I mean he is.
I absolutely insist that Stevo get his results tonight.
steve
Buck up, lil' camper...it will happen...eventually and you will get your results. "We're all right behind you", said the Second Platoon to the First at Normandy Beach...hehehe!

You should have seen me the time my uncle's 37-marker upgrade was three weeks late! All of the other reindeer from that batch were out playing their reindeer games with their results whilst thee remained a sad panda wondering what went wrong...
Three weeks passed and I got my results...eh, sometimes it happens! Out of all the sheep stampeding across the field, I just had to be that sacrificial lamb who would get his hoof caught in the single gopher hole at the back of the batch!
I guess if I'm going to claim Oetzi as a cousin, I have to claim that chimp they sequenced too.
Of course, so does everyone else.
On the GENEALOGY-L list I saw that everybody was pointing out that not only do we share most of our DNA with the chimp, we share half of our DNA with the banana he is eating.
Isn't this genetic genealogy stuff fun!
I have to remember I'm related to a banana the next time I start to take myself seriously.
Not at all, I know all (almost) I need to know about my Y-hg and subclade.
I'm waiting for my mtDNA results (batch 149) which are due in June.
In the meantime I pass my unproductive time in the law firm in which I'm having a stage bothering you all guys

I must be genetically related to the Banana.
I've been told by some women that I do have a peel.
So with your Family arriving home you will be extra joyed
conngrats again Comrad.
66 markers?..wow...that will give folk 7 free markers.
I have my 38-59 makers all written out on a sheet of paper waiting for me to add my values. i will go now and see if I can get the 6 new numbers to add to my sheet.
I have all my markers written out on paper so I can quickly compare numbers at an internet site without going back to my home-page all the time.
I have my free framable certificates which FTDNA has sent me for my Y and Mt readings. I'm sure they still do that for customers ....So you will have something official looking to frame.
If/when you join the Genographic program you will see on your Genographic homepage where you can print off a DNA Certificate. you can add any name. I printed one out for my Father. He was impressed with todays technology.
