You have a Deep SNP-R1b from FTDNA still pending?

Or are you referring to your 67-marker upgrade?

I go back to work tomorrow after having all of July and August off.

      • What I meant was my 67 marker upgrade's results are also due tomorrow . I hope tomorrow I can tell you what value I have at DYS492 (by the way, I've seen on the S21+ individuals' table there's a DYS492=12: you wouldn't be the only one, afterall...)

Have a good comeback to school, Stevo

Hope you get the results on time (and that you have 12 at DYS492!).

          Thanks.

          I hope so.

I'm not ready for summer to end.

This summer seemed to go by fast. School can only be a week away or so. Good-luck in the new year Stevo.

Wait a minute - Washington state does get tornados every once in a while. They just aren't very common. One years ago I think around the early 1980's or so hit the Vancouver, WA area. There was damage to a school & 1 person died when it hit a bowling alley. I remember my sister telling me about it. Then there was one in the early 1990's I heard about in the center of the state (no damage). I seem to hear about one every 2-3 years in the state. ----- FEC, I sent the kit to my nephew, but I haven't heard anything yet. He & wife moved away from Vancouver,WA to escape the rain to the Southwest where there was just flash flooding a week or 2 after they got there. Maybe the rain is following him--- He probably hasn't had time to do it yet, probably still unpacking etc. Hope he hasn't lost it in all their stuff. I'll contact him in another couple weeks if he hasn't sent it in by then.

              • I surely thought this thread was going to easily hit 1000 yesterday, but there was only one post. Where did everyone go?

And it did it while I was off and busy with other things!

                        Congratulations, ol' 147!

May you live long and prosper!

Many thanks to all those who have continued to post in this thread.

I'm not sure why it matters, but, for some reason, it does.

                        God bless you all!

                          • 147 Deep Clade FINALLY in...

I've been waiting months and months for the last results of my brother's deep clades. The batch came in in dribs and drabs. Promised on June 9th. So now that I've got them all, nothing has changed! He started out a "G" and he's still a "G". I'm surprised no further refinement.
But being a female, I'm not completely familiar with the males' test results. What does it all mean?
How did you guys all get to be so knowledgeble? These are the long overdue results. Perhaps someone here can explain the specifics...

                            M201+
                            M285-
                            M286-
                            M342-
                            P15-
                            P16-
                            P18-
                            P20-

I swear these all look the same as it was a month ago, but I'm sure it must be that one of the P's has been added. If you notice anything missing, will you please let me know?
Thank you all so much, in advance.

                            • Here is an explanation of the deepSNP-G test:

Discover your DNA story and unlock the secrets of your ancestry and genealogy with our Autosomal DNA, YDNA and mtDNA tests!

My uncle got his final deepSNP-G results today; he's G2. Another member of the Polish project was finally assigned plain G.

                              • Haven't sent my DNAPrint kit in yet, but did mail my son's to him. Washington state is still burning. The Tripod fire is around 148,000 acres now & the Columbia Complex fire is around 72,000 acres. The Tripod fire has some Washington State National Guardsmen helping the fire crews. There are also some Canadian firefighters battling it to try to keep it from going into British Columbia. They did get some snow on it but that hardly helped. The Columbia Complex fire near Dayton, WA has firefighters from a couple other states plus some New Zealand firefighters working on the firelines. We have other fires also. Idaho has fires & I heard Montana has a big one going.
