She might not kill me with it, but she may use it to make my voice a lot higher!

    • Do we know whether FTDNA has already completed the first re-test of batch 147 67-marker upgrades? In other words, if a customer is still waiting for his 67-marker upgrade from batch 147, do we know that FTDNA has already run his tests twice (failing both times)?

FTDNA has already told me that this is true of batch 146.

Yep, you'd better watch out. Wasn't Lorena living in Northern Virginia when she decided to bob her husband's tail. Mrs. Stevo may have taken note.

        • Here's my contribution towards 1000 posts. My batch 146 rerun was delayed before the rerun... Posted e-mail reply in batch 146 thread. Who is going to get the 1000 posts gong bell ?

Yes, she was. Manassas maybe? I forget. And she was an immigrant woman, too, wasn't she?

            Yikes!

(Actually, my wife has been pretty understanding about all my dna testing and genealogical stuff.)

Only if the one who gets the 1,000th post is R1b1c.

If it's DMac, we'll have to give him an I1a pin.

Igmayka is I1b, and ragnar would get a G2 pin, I think.

Of course, I would be happy to get an R1b1c pin (or maybe a tattoo?).

                • Have I got more posts than anyone else now?

I'm rapidly approaching the 2,000 mark.

What does that verse from Proverbs say?

                  Something like this? -

In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin . . .

                  • you doubled my posts Stevo.. it's like DNA Immersion. It's a good way to learn.

... I was joking about the Brilliant R1B1 pin..

                    .................................................. ..........................

The sheep is slightly improving. Some patches of her dried hide has cracked and fallen off leaving pink tissue. She will lose a quarter of her skin off her back and hind quarters. She has a small absess in one foot and limps. It has to come to a head before it can be dealt with. I think she is going to live.

Another penisillin shot for her today. The other sheep was treated for her foot rot with the proper copper stuff..sulfate?..i'm not sure the name, and the bottle in not near.

I'm getting four brown eggs a day from the chickens.

The 3 geese walk around like they own the place.

A friend came over and helped me assenble my 3 pt-hitch post-hole auger to the tractor. we will try to put some fencing up this week to keep the animals from wandering to the road.

I'm nervous when it comes to operating machinery that i am not familiar with. So I will have someone with experience with me..i also have to get some posts.

It wasn't hard to do, seeing that you have practically retired from the forum.

Better be careful. Next thing you know you'll be a fulltime farmer and buying Kenny Chesney CDs.

Or folks will start calling you Dr. Doolittle.

I think those sheep would agree with me that you are doing a lot, Doc.

                          • Ol' #147 has slowed down a lot. I seem to be spending most of my forum time over at the R1b Forum.

There seems to be fewer new results coming out these days, or am I wrong on that?

I wonder when we R1b guys will start getting word on M37 and P66. I think everyone is overdue on those.

Here is the R1b Forum, Mike.

I hope you will post there a lot.

We've been having fun playing with our marker numbers.
