  • You guys are too cool! I can't leave this forum either until Stevo gets his results. I wouldn't miss it for the world and I think I might be happier than he'll be! ( Oh yeah, hey Stevo - you get to take over my job of giving Mr Denning a few good jabs when he needs it, okay? ) Actually, we do appreciate your input Jim, especially if you bring along a little humor for us to wash it down with!

My DNA is weird - almost definitely I1b2* and pretty rare - no 12 or 25 marker matches at all at YSearch.org until you look at 4-step differences in mutation. A good thing really - it's nice to be unique - and, any matches are almost guaranteed relation! I like my haplogroup a lot.

Though I don't really need it, I'll still do a deep clade. I have plenty to do until those results come back so the wait won't seem near as long.

    • I'm pretty sure I read this right... it's just 4 minutes after one and I believe I just calculated that 294 Y-DNA records have just been added to the database. That's like six times the average lately!

Stevo, I'm rooting for you this time!!! Your results have just got to be in this one! I'll check for your off-the-hook reaction in the morning!

        • Here for about a week now I have been having growing hip joint pain & have been thinking hip replacements maybe sooner than I thought. But I finally figured it out------ every night I have been sitting here reading ALL the postings, & especially this thread---- & THAT is what's giving me the hip pain. Got to figure out a new position, reclining or something. Hey Lost-Sheep, you keep sayng you got your results---so, what the heck are you? Come on 146!

          • I think your hip pain might just be a pain in the *ss.

Probably caused from waiting .So we might as well make the best of it. Pass over a seat cushion would ya?

Same here, but then I'm also waiting for mtDNA results from batch 143. I've asked FTDNA to look into what's going on with that, but have not yet gotten a response.

                      • Well, it's almost 8:00 AM EST. I've had time to ride the train for an hour and walk the mile and a half from the station to my school, register for a graduate class in the fall, and check my email and FTDNA personal page.

                        Zip.

                        One more sad morning.

We'll see how the rest of the day pans out.

                            I hope not.

Besides, I have already sent a polite email asking for a status report.

Being in the dark over the weekend is not in my plans, if I can help it.

                              Stevo,

I expect the sun will come up in your part of Virginia as well as mine.

It's pretty cloudy up here in DC where I work right now.

I'm hoping to get some news that will dispel the gloom.

Did you get your first-ever test results early, on time, or late?
