I was afraid I'd get my results over the weekend and then I'd feel lost. So I just ordered my Mtdna refinement. I have six sisters and their daughters I can share the knowledge with..or is it a curse of never ending questions?

results are targeted on the 22nd...almost 9 away days now

I would love to get my results over the weekend so I would have time to find things out and play with the numbers.

During the week I'm so busy at school it's tough to find time except in the evenings, and then I'm tired.

Tonight would be a good time to find out.

Of course, next Friday is my target date.

I think I will just step away from my father's male line and work on his mother's line for a few weeks and, hopefully, the results of the FTDNA efforts will be available within that time. At least, the idea is a good thought. As you might expect, I am not sure I can really pull this off. As the old song says, every form of refuge has its price.

When you have a strange number in your sequence you can come up with a million more possibilities of who you were.

I think I will just step away from my father's male line and work on his mother's line for a few weeks and, hopefully, the results of the FTDNA efforts will be available within that time. At least, the idea is a good thought. As you might expect, I am not sure I can really pull this off.

That sounds like a good way to keep busy, but you won't be able to keep your mind off your y-dna and the pending results.

Partial results in on batch 147

One of my members has a partial result in on a 12 to 37 marker upgrade. It's the 26 to 37 part so the data isn't showing yet. It just says it's complete on the "Received lab results" page. ...

I sent two samples in originally to Geno Program..I had the 12 done first...then I up'd it to 25.

Then I got the mtdna HVR 1 and 2.

Then 26-37

now I'm waiting on my SNP and 38-59.
