Another day of waiting for Batch 147 has come to a close for me.

Maybe tomorrow will be the day!

I repeat, will the first person to receive batch 147 results please stand up and shout loudly. There could be and possibly are those among us who would pretend to hold this holy grail. They and their issue may find tattoos upon them of unexplainable origin if their presentations are false. They and their issue will find deep appreciation of explainable origin if their presentations are true.

My Experiences...

I have Y-DNA tested over a dozen males. All of them acquired early results that were of the R1b1 Haplogroup. The two that were from Haplogroup I had results that came in late. Coincidence???

I have no idea whether popular Y-DNA strings yiels faster results or not, but it certainly appears that way...

The males in some of my family lines (all passing through at least one female) have been tested. Thus far, all of them are either I1a or R1b.

I don't know how early or late or otherwise they got their results, however.

Wow, this has got to be the slowest day ever for the Batch 147 thread. No posts all day since my last one early this morning.

You all starting to get worn out? Enthusiasm waning a bit?

It has been a long wait. I guess we're too used to instant results nowadays.

Of course, my results aren't really due until May 19, so I cannot legitimately complain.

Some folks have gotten their results early, so I guess I've foolishly allowed myself to get my hopes up.

Today I am really tired for some reason. When I feel worn out I start to feel a little down.

Anyway, May 19 will come.

At least you already know your haplogroup . . . you can make the waiting easier by reading, learning about the various clades of R1b, concocting wild theories about your ancestors, etc.
