Sorry, Jim, you're right. At the moment it looked like the quickest way to get an answer. I looked at several boards to see if it looked like someone was on, and I needed the answer in minutes as I was being pressured for an answer. I did get an answer from my post here. I had also posted on the Gen DNA list and no one responded, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered the forums here.

you have a right for a quick answer dna and genealogy is where it is supposed to happen this is for people with trouble in tests
dna is stoping and this is 900 posts for a raised total . probably chasing away anyone who needs answers

No extra markers!

I've given up waiting for for my 37-67 upgrade markers... whatever happens with this "large" batch 146, it surely takes way too long! I won't bother sending e-mails to FTDNA any longer... it's always the same, "one-two days" or "early next week"... it's already been 6 weeks past the due date and no new targets have been posted.

Did they give you at least some of the markers?

I've read that some folks have at least gotten back some of the new markers, even though they haven't received all of them yet.

Have you checked the Y-DNA DYS Values portion of your personal home page lately? Maybe they're there?

I am one of the people who only got partial results (17 of 30 markers in the upgrade), but from batch 145. I posted about this in the thread for Batch 145 and I think in one of the other more general threads.

These 17 markers have not showed up yet on any page or official record for me on the FTDNA website. I got the marker results informally by writing to Eileen Krause ([email protected]) and asking why people in batch 146 were getting marker upgrade results and I hadn't gotten anything from an order for the upgrade in batch 145. She wrote back that there was a problem (either a failure or unusual result) in one of the panels and that it must be retested. Her e-mail included an attached Excel file with the values for the 17 markers in the two panels that didn't have a problem.

I suggest that anyone who has an order for upgrade to 67 markers in either batch 145 or 146 and hasn't seen any results at all yet should write Eileen and find out if they had some sort of partial failure. If there are partial results to give, she will probably send you an Excel file with those results.

By the way, her estimate of when I can expect results from the missing panel of 13 is about 3 weeks from last week.

Or they simply haven't done pretty much anything for our batch... quite discouraging! I was also informerd I got a 37 marker match (on 34, 35, 36 or 37 markers) but I cannot access the "Y DNA Matches" tab, as I keep getting runtime error messages. What is going on with FTDNA lately?

Mine still doesn't show up and they haven't e-mailed me back either... I wonder if their message was a mistake to begin with! Too good to be true! In the meantime I'm waiting for the Y-37 to Y-67 markers, of which I haven't received anything almost 7 weeks past the due date... Seems like the services have become quite patchy lately...
