Maybe it was just the deep SNP's that got new target dates. I'm waiting for a refine mtDNA in batch 144 and, like Elise, my target date is still 5/01
Judy
Judy it's your target date! 5/01 ........(or is that 5/January ?)
I've heard results can come any time of day.
My y12 from this batch came at 5:57am and 15 days early on 4/13.
I'm still waiting for my hvr1; mine says it isn't due until 5/10, which is a hefty 8 weeks after the batch started. That seems a little long for a simple hvr1; maybe they don't start the hvr1 until the y12 is done.
Here's hoping for the best for you folks today. Maybe results will start flowing in as soon as folks in the lab get their coffee.
steve
Well, sometimes they have to repeat the tests, because the results can be inconclusive and not scientific enough. So when we get the results, we can pretty much be sure that no mistake was made and that the results are accurate.
Bad news. The latest, just in , is that the results will probably be delayed until sometime before the end of the week. This directly from FTDNA, with apologies. The person with whoim I spoke checked with the lab by phone which, given the time difference, would probably have just opened for business so maybe someone else will come along later in the day and advance the schedule a bit. For now, however, it appears we all have a little longer to wait.
If you folks who were due 5/1 get your results soon, it'll reassure me that mine will be here by 5/10 when they're due. I noticed batch 143 has mtDNA results due tomorrow; I hope theirs is on time too.
I keep trying to read something new into "Expected date 5/10/06"
Take care,
steve
I just got my hvr1 results; I hope everybody else did too
I just got my hvr1 results. It's haplogroup K, which kind of blows a hole in the strange census results I got from the early 1800s. Now to figure out what it all means.
steve
Welcome to haplogroup K! There's an mtDNA haplogroup K project at FTDNA that you can join. The project admin provides a lot of good information on the haplogroup, gleaned from the K project members and the K results in Mitosearch.
I've had *5* new HVR1 matches show up in the past few hours, but I don't know which batch(es) they were from.
Maybe my HVR2 from this batch will show up today as well?!
