Has anyone received MTDNA results from thhis batch yet?
i would think the people doing just mtdna would have them already
see when you do alot they schedule the specimin to be done on a weekly or biweekly space until allthe tests are done
those who just do one test say hrv1 or 13-25 should be done in the first time period but doing it all saves the batch creation and all the rest . so instead of 2 weeks between results its 2.5 months

this was his answer so i would expect a flurry of results latr this week and early next week
I donÂ’t think so. The sample didnÂ’t get cleared before the lab stopped fro Christmas vacation. I expect that weÂ’ll see it end of this week or early part of next week.

12/14-??? - How many weeks is "xmas" vacation? Do they have a calendar of when they do operate - I was thinking about a "surname" project, but I'd hate to feel responsible for family members' long waits after projected dates.Last edited by rod; 4 January 2006, 01:24 AM.

i would assume a week or so on the vacation
do the project dont worry about waits
once people get results i am the only idiot that comes back here
they are all too busy with the results

We had a reaction drop out on the Full mtDNA sequence for you, and 15 other
people...the entire reaction failed. We have had it pilled for re-run and
expect to have that next week.

What's a "reaction drop out"?
lol ask bennett
bennett is very into this stuff . and people who do get deep into things sometimes forget the level of people they are talking to is. i am sure he will joyfully give you another answer which might end in the same results

I'm doomed!
I just looked this sample in our system...it shows that your sample was one
where the DAN failed to run on one of the coding region reactions so it's
been re-pulled and is being run again. I expect we have another 3 weeks.
Results should nearly always be delivered prior to the expected date!
