Received my mtDNAPlus today.

I called customer service but their response is not satisfactory.

Their answer;

"Family Finder results have been uploaded for kit 278749, Azerbaijani. Family Finder uses autosomal DNA to connect you with relatives descended from any of your ancestral lines in approximately the most recent five to six generations. The Population Finder beta tool also provides analysis of your ethnic percentages.

Customer Service will respond soon. Due to the volume of emails that they get, it may take a few days to get a response, so please be patient.

Family finder results and raw data came in yesterday, so all results are now in.

Matches is the just same country ? I have y-dna matches from Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Russia. Also, I have got 8 y-dna matches totaly. But showing only one match on my matches page. There are 638.103 records on databese and and I haven't got any match. Very bad service.

Azerbaijan, the screenshot of your page does show the new matches icon. Maybe as someone suggested, they haven't finished loading...?? If it is still like that in the morning, you could call customer service and ask. Maybe the new icon automatically appears on the home page whether or not there are matches, I don't know. Hope you DO get some matches from this batch!

Complated my Family finder results but I haven't got any matches. Why ? Help me please.

You might not have any matches, because unfortunately there is probably not enough people who have tested from your country. I am of course assuming that all of your heritage is from Azerbaijan. Make sure you download your raw data and keep checking back at Gedmatch to see when they will start accepting new uploads. You might find some matches there.

But, I hope you get matches from this batch too!

Family Finder does give that message. By default, the FF matches page starts at the "Close & Immediate" relationship level. If a person doesn't have any matches at that level, the page auto-refreshes to Show All Matches.

Matches for FF are in. My PF shows Europe Finnish and Russia but I have Germany and Ireland documented. My European history is rusty.

It's very possible that you don't have any matches in the FTDNA database right now, especially if not many people from the region(s) that you are from have tested. But FTDNA will continually compare you against new customers, and when you do get a match, it will be displayed on your page.

That's the message that shows with your YDNA results with the drop down results box. FamilyFinder doesn't give that message. Are you sure you are checking your FF matches?

Also, keep in mind that the Y-DNA matches page refreshes one marker level at a time when there are no matches. There's no "Show All Matches" option on the Y-DNA Matches page

Got my FF results

My FF results just came in.one Suggested Relationship second cousin Shared cM 165.48 Longest Block 22.93

PF Europe (western European) 98.37% + or - 2.17%

Hopefully I will be able to figure out the results with help.
