Guest repliedHi all~ My Batch Number is also 508 and I ordered a mtDNAPlus test.
As an international customer, it took quite a while for my package to arrive in Houston,Texas! The expected results date was 15/05/2013 but a few days ago the pending test results page was altered and it looks my HVR1+2 is being rerun with a new expected date of 27/05/2013I suspect thats due to the power outages they had?
Strangely enough my mtHaplo result is still expected for 15/05/2013? I wonder if thats possible.. I knew my dna would be confusing! >

FF are now expected on the 27 of this month. i'm not sure what this means does anyone know please?
[3:03:11 PM] Taylor Trusty: Your expected date has recently been updated to reflect the current time frame for your results to be ready. We sincerely appreciate your continued patience and cooperation. Family Finder uploads have been delayed due to recent server maintenance related to power outages caused by inclement weather. The new expected date only applies to those of you who have remaining DNA stored in our lab for testing.

I've had a SNP in this batch, results due today.. still waiting. I'm guessing I'll be bumped.

Hi I've had my Y-DNA results back it says Results Completed, my results are R1b1a2.
i used a prediction tool witch gave me a hundred percent the same result. are these results just a prediction or could they change?
cheers DNA newbie.

Haplogroup
I received my y-12 results friday evening 4-14-13 but no prediction yet, so I'm assuming the SNP backbone test will have to be run? My y-12 had 2 exact matches and two matches at 1 step.

The y-12 and the prediction should come together (as far as I am aware). If they do not - then the haplogroup can not be predicted by the matches you have and a SNP backbone test should be run.
Here are details on the SNP backbone test:

It will not do any harm if you ask helpdesk when the Haplogroup is expected.

Batch 508
Hi everyone.
I am new to all this DNA stuff so find it somewhat confusing. My test is in the 508 batch which testing was "In Progress" by the lab on 3-22-13.
My Y-DNA1-12 Markers results are expected 5-3-13. If I am understanding the previous posts correctly, some of you have received your results in batch 508 already? Is there an average amount of time after the Y-DNA1-12 Markers results are in that one can expect their prediction?
Thanks, Hoppy

Your Test Is In Progress...
We cannot predict a haplogroup based on your matches. However, you may qualify for our SNP Assurance Program. We are processing a Backbone test that will assign your basic haplogroup. The backbone test results will be available in about three weeks.

My uncle got the Y-12, but not the prediction. It is not available yet. The Haplotree and SNP page states -
Your Unpredicted Haplogroup: -
There is a tab - 'waiting for results' - but when opened there is no result date for the Haplogroup prediction.

Mine was in with my results. I just clicked on haplotree & SNPs and it said there. They never announced it though.

Predictions
Are predictions in yet on the y12. I can't order SNPs and I am wondering if this is because predictions aren't yet finished.

Grandfather's U106 SNP test and uncle's P312 SNP test came in today both positive.
