That's what it is. You can also download your results in a CSV.

I honestly don't remember. The kit was ordered 9 Oct and shipped back promptly. Mine is still sitting at 60%.

And your kit was shipped back at the same time or no? In any case, that means maybe a week until mine is done (assuming there's a linear relationship between date received and date completed, which is probably not the case).

My kit was shipped back probably 2 days later.
Definitely not linear. Mine almost certainly went into processing a batch (or 2) later.

                  From the article at http://www.yourgeneticgenealogist.co...irst-look.html

It appears as though the complete list of reference populations is:

                  1. African American
                  2. Altaian (Siberian)
                  3. Amerindian (Mexico)
                  4. Bermudian
                  5. Bougainville-Nasioi (Oceania)
                  6. British (United Kingdom)
                  7. Bulgarian
                  8. Chinese
                  9. Danish
                  10. Eastern Indian

                  13. Georgian
                  14. Iberian (Spain and Portugal)
                  15. Iranian
                  16. Japanese
                  17. German
                  18. Greek
                  19. Highland Peruvian
                  20. Khoisan (Southern Africa)
                  21. Kinh (Vietnam)

                  27. Mongolian
                  28. Ni-Vanuatu (Vanuatu)
                  29. Northern Caucasian
                  30. Northern Indian
                  31. Pamiri (Tajikistan)
                  32. Papuan (Papua New Guinea)
                  33. Peruvians from Lima
                  34. Puerto Rican
                  35. Romanian
                  36. Russians
                  37. Sardinian
                  38. Southern Indian
                  39. Tatar (Russia)

                  42. Western Indian
                  43. Yoruban (West African)

And it gives a breakdown of each of those reference populations, by the following nine regional affiliations:

                  Northeast Asian
                  Mediterranean
                  Southern African
                  Southwest Asian
                  Native American
                  Oceanian
                  Southeast Asian
                  Northern European
                  Sub-Saharan African

Being that we pretty much have a patchwork quilt for my ancestry (Italian - more specifically, Sicilian; Polish, German, and Colonial) I am very curious how my brother's DNA will shake out in this. Can't come fast enough. 8-)

Did you notice that the only "italian" names are
tuscan for central and north Italy
                    Sardinian for sardinia

and south Italy is ???.......I was told they will call it greek

                              Approaching 3 weeks at 60% -

I am excited though and looking forward to answering some lingering questions and playing with the data - can't wait for some third party tools.

I think the 43 populations and the 9 regions are a great way of analysing your admitixure - why are some people complaing about that?

On another site one girl filled-up 8 of those regions - the most was 24% the least was 4%. The only one she did not was Southern Africa.

Some people just can't/won't be pleased. Probably like most people, I'd like to see more specific results, but understand that the present science can't necessarily provide them.
