Ups mail innovations strikes again. They said I should have it by Mar 6 but when they passed it to USPS in CA they said it wouldn't get here till the 18th. Must have put it aboard a boat to me here in Hawaii rather the fly it in. Wish I knew that so I could have paid the extra amount.

I live in a city that borders Houston, where FTDNA's lab is located. I sent back the Geno 2.0 test kit with my DNA sample at my local post office on Feb. 28. Knowing of earlier problems with delivery of kits to FTDNA, I paid about $1 extra for tracking.

According to tracking, my kit arrived at the North Houston postal sort facility the night of Feb. 28. It departed the sort facility on March 2. It wasn't delivered to FTDNA's office, probably within 10 miles, until last Friday, March 8. With service like that, it's no wonder the Postal Service is going bankrupt!

I logged into my Geno 2.0 account and they still have that my kit hasn't been received yet. FTDNA either hasn't logged in my kit as received or there's a delay in Geno 2.0 updating information to my account.

if I had known at the time how long it would take, I'd have never bought this kit

                          • Weird. My kit just went from 20% to 80%. After nearly 9 weeks at 20%. Hope this is legit.
