    Raw data question
    by chgruver
I am not sure if this should be here or in the advanced area but; for males with the Family Finder data is any of the Y chromosome sequenced, and available in the raw data? The reason I ask is I imported my data to Sequencing.com and the genome explorer has no data for the Y chromosome, not even a list...

Fred came home from University in tears. "Mum, am I adopted?" he asked.
"No of course not," replied his mother. “Why would you think such a thing?”

    Marguerite LeBreton, Premières Nations
    by Réal Tremblay
Dans le tableau suivant, de quelle Marguerite LeBreton s'agit-il?
est-ce qu'il s'agit de la femme de René, Iréné Duguay?
    ou d'une autre Marguerite.
Il n'y a pas suffisamment de références.

    Merci!

Here's a photo from a few years ago of three of my grandkids, the children of my youngest son. The two boys have had their DNA tested with Family Tree DNA. Both of them carry the red hair variant Arg160Trp, which I carry, their dad carries, and my dad carried. You can bet their sister carries it, too...

    Backyard Hobbies
    by Stevo
I enjoy wildlife in my backyard, as long as it’s not dangerous. I have a couple of bird feeders for songbirds and a suet feeder to attract woodpeckers. We also have a nice little birdbath with a little solar fountain in it. As long as the sun is shining, the fountain is tinkling and circulating the...

    My confirmed haplogroup: R-FT176237
    by Texan1836
I decided to go for Big Y and now my Haplogroup has moved from R-M269 to R-FT176237

    Unfortunately I have no matches at B-Y700 level. Only at 12 and 25 markers. ( 687 and 247 matches ) ( no 37, 67 or 111 ! )

Is it normal that FTDNA give a Haplogruop and then change it?...
