    I just received my mt haplogroup of U4. Being a newbie at this I would love some direction as to what it means and where I can go to find research material. It appears that Y Haplogroup are somewhat more straightforward and provide a lot more information that I can find on Mt haplogroups.

    In viewing matches, I sometimes want to view a member's tree that they posted. When I open any tree, it immediately generates a pop up box titled Tool Navigation. Is there any way to get rid of this pop up or have a setting to stop it from appearing? Navigating a tree is so simple I would think that...

    I took the AncestryDNA test in April 2017 and transferred the results to FTDNA., and I did the Y-37 test last June. My siblings are now both probably going to do the FF test. Is there any advantage to me deleting my AncestryDNA results and taking the FF at the same time as my siblings?

    A curious match: FTDNA gives me a curious match in that there looks to be no common ancestor. It is a combination of Finnish, Karelian and Russian. But My Origins gives me zero % of Finnish and Eastern Europe. A tree is shown with this match showing all this. Hmm...
