    Question about Haplogroup
    by puentesr79
Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here! I'm making this post because I have a question about my paternal haplogroup. My dad did the Y-111 test from FamilyTreeDNA, and it said his haplogroup is R-M269. Then, I used NevGen to find his specific subclade, and it predicted that his haplogroup is...

Proving or disproving a remote autosomal match
    by Rhonda Hatton
I've heard of things like this happening before, so I figure somebody here will be able to help me figure out this match.

I have what FTDNA estimates as a fifth to remote cousin, a male with a rare surname of French origin, whom I have 26 matches in common with : yet he is not a match...

Hi, whenever I try to download my raw DNA I get this:

"The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. Please click this button to report the error:", but there's no button.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Current FF batch #?
    by angelah100
What FF batch numbers have been recently completed? Which batches are 'in progress' with associated start dates? It would be nice to see some kind of progress log. I have a relative in batch 671. According to all the forums, FF is running very behind. Relative is 96 and it would be nice to give her...

Search for father of adopted Great Great Grandfather
    by Wahski
When I first did the DNA thing, I did it with one goal in mind, seeing if I could find who the father of my Great Great Grandfather George was.

Records show that he was Christened in 1851 with his mother's surname and no details of his father were recorded.
    Attitudes to babies out...

    What does FMS mean?
    by gtc
In the Show all Matches view of Family Finder what does FMS stand for under the personal name of a match?

I have checked the page help and there is no specific mention of it, although I gather it has something to do with testing level.

    Subgrouping issue
    by Brunetmj
Once I log on as an administrator while using GAP software and then go to member subgrouping I can no longer click on a newcomers kit number and get redirected to their home page. Is anyone else having this issue? I have tried three different browsers and it occurs with each one. Thanks for your he...
