Familytreedna stuffup or not??

My uncle matches a male person on chromosome 2 from 137789970 to 170609544 (26cM). I don't match with this person.

I am male and match with a different male person on chromosome 2 from 115897567 to 174821758 (54cM). My uncle doesn't match with this person.

Shouldn't we both match with both people given that the match I have covers the same section, only larger, as that my uncle has?

There are two factors at play here.

First of all, while you share 50% of your DNA with each parent, you only share about 25% of DNA with an aunt or uncle. So, it's quite possible that the shared segment your uncle shares with his match is, for example, from his father (your grandfather), while the segment you share with a different match on the same chromosome came from your grandmother (your uncle's mother). Since the segments don't come from the same common ancestor, you and your uncle are matching different people on the segments on each of your chromosome 2.

Also, remember that chromosomes come in pairs. So, you received one of your chromosome 2 pair from your father and the other chromosome 2 from your mother. Let's say that your uncle is your father's brother. In that case, it's possible that the match you have with someone on chromosome 2 is on the one that you received from your mother. Since your uncle presumably is not related to your mother, you would not expect him to match this same person that you match on chromosome 2.
