Diversity within hg L1c1 people:More Afro-Carribean than Afro-North American Origins?

I was reading the article "Genome-wide patterns of population structure and admixture in West Africans and African Americans," and I was wondering about the distribution of L1c1 in Colonial America?

Any ideas?
