Trace route of mtDNA + Y-DNA


I've seen on some site some people are using their markers to compare with other mutations and then they are figuring out a (possible) route out of Africa to the living area of their last recent common ancestor.

I haven't kneel into this yet because I think it would took some hard piece of work and also some research resource which are hardly found on public Internet.

It would be nice if FTDNA would have a automatic calculation program but I think this is 5+ years ahead from nowadays possibilities.
