No Big Y Reprocessing yet - why?

There has been no Big Y reprocessing done yet for my father. Does this indicate a problem? If so, shouldn't they let us know what is going on? Thanks.

It does not mean it is a problem. There could be other factors at play. We just don't know at this moment.

Big Y conversion

Yes, the project I help with still has 12 old Big Ys that have not made it through yet. There has been no Big Y activity in our group since 11/11.

Results Pending...until Jan 2018?

Currently I'm not seeing any matches; all of my old matches are gone. I do, however, have access to the New UI for Big-Y and it shows that it was processed on October 27. Should I expect not to have updated Matches until sometime in January 2018, then?

Your previous matches may have been too distant to be meaningful matches. FTDNA has changed the matching limits and this would explain why many matches do not appear. However, they are still messing with the update and it is possible they tweak things that cause some matches to appear. We simply don't know at this moment.

That would be in line with my Y-Full results then...
