Can you transfer/update old Genographic results to Geno 2.0?

I did the original Genographic test around 5 to 6 years ago. Can it be upgraded to Geno 2.0, or do you have to take another test?

You'll need to purchase a new test kit for Geno2.0.

At this time, they're not allowing orders using existing DNA swabs that are already stored at the lab. It's possible that they might allow this sometime next year, but there's no official decision on that yet.

Also, the test is completely different from the original Genographic tests, so you can't simply convert results from one to the other -- a new test has to be run regardless of whether they use a new swab or an old swab.
