Question RecLOHs

I have several close matches @ 37 markers with different surnames. My Haplogroup is I-Z63. Of the 5 markers where RecLOHs are possible, 3 appear to have occurred. The most unusual one for Haplgroup I is our YCAII 20-20 result. We all have the same results for YCAII as well as the other two markers.
While we have different surnames, does the fact that our rare "RecLOH" results match provide more assurance that we are indeed related?
Also, does the existence of RecLOHs indicate the age of the mutations? Recent or ancient?
