Hello, I've recently been able to narrow down my dad's assigned haplogroup by going over his individual SNPs one-by-one. He tested with 23andMe, who gave him the haplogroup I-M253. When I went through his raw file, I was able to definitively narrow that down to I-Z140 (the corresponding SNP for this was positive). I can't narrow it down much more than that through this method (he tested negative for Z2535, F2642, and A196, and the SNP for Z141 was listed as "not determined"), so I'd like to get a more comprehensive Y-DNA test for him.
I've been advised to go with FTDNA's test specifically for I-Z140. I can't seem to find where to get that. I've been told that it's under "Advanced Tests" when I go to upgrade, but I can't find that option at all. I also Googled FTDNA advanced tests, but still couldn't find it. Where are the SNP panel tests? Is it no longer available or am I just lost?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
