Buying an SNP test

I'm wondering...If you have a generic haplotype result from a y67 test and you've found subclade DNA project where the members' SNP values fall into the same range as yours, does it make sense to just order the individual SNP test for that specific subclade and forget having to chuck more money on backbone packs?

Well my numbers fit within the subclade's min/max values and then fit into the values of another down range from that.
