Cost to Convert from 46 and upgrade to 67

I'm having trouble advising someone from ancestry dna to join our project. What is the process and the cost to convert from 46 to 67, including the conversion. Which product(s) do I order? There seem to be several options, of course we would like the less expensive and we will be applying general fund after the order. Thank you! Barb

    Barb:

The customer will need to order the "Transfer Y-DNA46 + Y-DNA37" product first to transfer his original results to FTDNA. He'll then be mailed a DNA collection kit so the lab can test him for 4 markers that are missing from the Y-DNA46, but are needed for the Y-DNA37.

From there, he can upgrade to 67 markers just like any other customer would. I believe he won't be able to purchase the upgrade until after he returns the kit and it's been batched to test the 4 missing markers.

    Transfer - $58
    Y-Refine37to67 - $99
