Angry FTDNA Forum Police...

I hereby volunteer my services to monitor and delete the recent influx of advertisement spam that is threatening this forum! The real administrator can even monitor every message I delete to ensure that I will never abuse my admin priviledges. I am very trustworthy.

We need to take this forum back from the advertisement spammers!

You've got my vote!

This recent intrusion by spammers is getting to be too much and too frequent. Otherwise FTDNA will have to restrict the forum to DNA testees only.

You mean you're not interested in plastic surgery, free porno, and online betting?

Personally, I'm waiting for the free beer ad.

I'm down with that one!

I frequent three car forums and a fitness site and I have never seen the type of "ad trolls" that have been cropping up here the last few weeks. Seems like a pretty weak and annoying marketing ploy.

Post <---- There is a common trait concerning all of the spam

They appear to be occurring from the same originiator bot using the same icon identified above. Also, I believe the origin is Russian...and NO Stevo, I am not basing the origin by the originator bot's haplotype!

Thumbs up That was fast!

Suddenly, the spam has been deleted all except the "BobMar" posting, however that posting was tomfoolry instead of advertisements...

Thanks, Max!

I cannot claim any victory of an army of which I do not serve. If only they would let me serve, that Russian spambot would get nixed every time it wasted its time spamming here.

FTDNA already does trust me in a way as I am the administrator of three of their surname projects...never been arrested...great credit rating...military veteran...college grad...I would make a good little spambot deleter...<hint>...<hint>...

Mine too.

It's a pity how some "people" seem to get some sick pleasure harrassing other people.

Oh, yeah, I get it!

Blame those R1a Kurgans!

If they're not spreading Indo-European or making skulls into drinking cups, they're spreading spam, is that it?
