Is this a 'bug' or a 'gripe' or both?

I have several kits(12 I think) on FT, one is my own and one is a half-sibling's. The half sibling's kit is the newest with results first completed 9/14. She's only had one new match since then (10/14).

All of my other kits have from one to two pages of new matches since Oct.14. I think there is a problem with my sister's kit being updated. My own latest new match was 9/21 and the match is 'in common' with my sister but the match did not show up on her match list. I did a search of the match too in order to see if it was one of her old matches but it's just not there.

It could be a matter of privacy settings (in regards to in common with match). If your sisters kit or this match has set setting to not show remote cousins, they will not show up on either kits list, but will be listed in the In Common with lists.

What is the relationship range for you to this match? if it is listed as 4th to Remote or 5th to Remote, you will know that this particular match does not have this level of privacy set, so will not be the issue with match showing up on your sisters list.

Double check your sisters privacy settings for Family Finder. Also you can either phone FTDNA and ask them to double check sisters kit and or PM Darren here on this forum.
