mtDNA+ or mt Full Sequence?

For the mt test, what exactly do the mtdna+ results provide compared to the full sequence?

mtFullsequence gives you final current known haplogroup placement (subclade branch)

Genealogically speaking, Full sequence is most relevant in terms of timeframe to most recent ancestor between you and match.

mtDNAPlus examines only the HVR1 and HVR2 regions--a rather small section of the total mitochondrial DNA.
