As I posted in the Jewish/Italian project, I think your statement should be qualified as referring only to Ashkenazim, not to Sephardim, or other Jewish communities historically found outside of Europe.

Results for finn

I am finnish (origin 100% european/north siberia)
My mtdna is H3 and fathers goes to N line.

Ancient origins gave me these results.

11% Metal Age Invader
27% Farmer
55% Hunter Gatherer
8% non European

My father is quite "forrest finnish" from both parent's side (middle/ eastern Finland). My mother's mom was karelian who had to move because war (nowadays russian side), and mother's dad's familyhistory goes some point towards Sweden.
