DNA Heritage > Merge

Just received this email...

<clip>
Dear Customers,

Today we have signed an agreement with Family Tree DNA to transfer the DNA Heritage database, and also the Ybase domain, site and database. In a few weeks time, the DNA Heritage domain will also be transferred.

Customers within the DNA Heritage database will be able to opt-in to be uploaded into the FTDNA database. Family Tree DNA will organize this opt-in process. New orders can then later be taken through Family Tree DNA. Project Funds for Surname Projects will remain intact in the transfer.
<end>

Sounds like there will be a lot of work behind the scenes while this is incorporated.

Interesting. I wonder if the merging of DNA Heritage's UK office will have much of an impact on FTDNA matches?

From manta.com:
Dna Heritage in Rochester, NY is a private company categorized under Biological Laboratories. Current estimates show this company has an annual revenue of 120,000 and employs a staff of approximately 3.

A staff of only 3?!? I imagine their customers wait a really, really long time for their results. Longer than...

Have a DNA Heritage member join one of my FTDNA projects today.
Anyone else?

The 459a/b results are not displaying right, 810 for both instead of 8 and 10.

He hasnt signed his release form yet, so I cant see if he has any matches in the database.
