McGee Utility: TMRCA vs. modal

I don't understand the TMRCA number between the people and the modal. It is too short. Modal is the ancestor's haplotype, so all the mutations belong to the people. TMRCA for genetic distance of 4 at 37 markers against the modal should be 720 years, not 360 years like they have.
