Family Trees

Just wanted to say a little bit about finding families on here. As a newbie, was was very surprised to find so many people who didn't upload their trees. With over 1500 matches for my mom, and 1000 for my dad, I only had maybe 25-50% who uploaded trees. Y-DNA and mtDNA were the problem. I have a large number of 2-3 or 4th cousins, and a number of Y-DNA 50-90cM but am unable to compare families.
If you are really interested in filling in your trees, upload at least 5 generations when able. After 14 years of research, I have 16 generations in some lines.
